Feelings
somethings are the way they are and words just can't explain
expansive sport

Since 14, I have been indulging in an expansive sport - scuba diving. I consider myself lucky, being able to dive at a young age and in many places.

The feeling of gearing up, getting myself ready is something i dreaded most. Especially if the wetsuit is still damp and I had to wear it, very often I find myself feeling being wrapped up. However, the anticipation of jumping into the water and being near to the sea creatures are my motivations.

Wearing the clumsy equipment, looking like a human with duck legs, I knew the sea would welcome my presence. Whether I walk into the sanctury with a giant strike or do a back row, it does not really matter, what matter most is the 45 - 80 minutes that I spend in the sea.

This trip in Bunakken and Manado is one of the best trip. This trip itself, is one of the most enriching experience. For the first time, I handled a video camera under water; for the first time, I experienced up-current (which was a very special experience); and for the first time, I saw a lot of different creatures, my favourite being the devil ray and the Wunderpuss (mimic octopus).

I am now looking forward to dive in Cebu next year (in The Phillipines) and let's pray hard that I have the chance to get there.
